Christmas with Saint Ben's & Saint John's
The decades-long tradition of Christmas with Saint Ben’s & Saint John’s returns this December! Join nearly 150 student musicians for a performance at St. Michael Catholic Church on Saturday, December 5. We are grateful that St. Michael Catholic Church has graciously agreed to welcome us for this year’s off-campus concert while the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis is renovated. We look forward to returning to the Basilica in December 2027.
This year’s program features cherished annual selections, including Egil Hovland’s The Glory of the Father and Lara Hoggard’s arrangement of Personent Hodie. CSB+SJU choir alumni/ae are invited to join our student musicians in singing these works at the St. Michael performance.
The program also includes traditional carols, spoken word, and choral and instrumental works by Owain Park, Anna Lapwood, Ola Gjeilo, Jeanne Van Appledorn, Dan Forrest, and more.
Participating Ensembles:
• Chamber Choir
• Men's Chorus
• Women's Choir
• Orchestra
• Brass Choir
This event is at St. Michael Catholic Church.
Seating is general admission.
